My printer, HP PSC 1410 all-in-one works fine every bit a printer, a scanner and a copier until I had a virus and had to reformat.  I have the original HP for the printer drive, downloaded the software undated and take loaded, deleted and reloaded the software 20 times.  The printer and copier works well.  Microsoft appears saying that scanner drivers are not certified, etc. and I can't scan to work.  I had put in hundreds of hours trying to get this to work.  I am 71 years old and I already have the computer work for my company xviii years ago.  My disability to solve this trouble that bothers me more than than anything else.  I demand some young soul to help me that whip.  I don't buy a new figurer or upgrade to Windows vii until I fix this.  It has become a challenge, but I demand help.  Kenny:

However, since the time I upgraded my computer and the operating system (Win 7 Ultimate (64 bit) recently, I find that, although the printer prints my documents and scan them in a sure measure, in that location is always an exclamation point icon that appears on the device, indicating that it does not work as it is supposed to. I tried to download driver from the HP site files, but the problem won't become abroad. Any suggestions, anyone?

Windows vii included drivers for my printer hp deskjet 6840, only they are no longer there. I have been unable to rind a solution, same arter an 60 minutes with the aid of ms tech. Any ideas?

After a long distance movement, I created my computer exactly as it had been.  My deskjet 6840 no longer works.  A ms service technician took a drivers installed to another computer and now information technology prints when telegraphed, just not wireless.  Download HP site said no downloadable drivers, and Microsoft does not support whatsoever assistance.  I would merely utilise some other printer, just I have a few hundred dollars for a value of ink cartridges for it and am not prepared to throw.  Anyone take whatsoever ideas?
